Tori Martin Musician

While only in her 20s, she brings a fresh perspective and a sense of authenticity every time she hits the stage. Sharp sophistication meets humble nature for this true entertainer who is equal parts exciting and relatable. She dazzles with her high-energy performances but is equally confident performing stripped-back performances allowing her powerhouse vocals to shine. From early life on the sunny shores of Florida to establishing family roots in Texas, each and every moment has had a profound influence on the artist she is today

We caught up with Tori ahead of her performance.

How would you describe your latest single?

I would describe “The Kmart Closed (In Our Hometown)” as catchy and nostalgic. It’s a song that gets stuck in your head and brings back memories of the good times you had at your local Kmart. I loved writing this song and it’s certainly fun to sing in my show!

-What is it like playing back in your home state?

Playing country music in the great state of Texas never gets old. I love being able to bring the show back to my home state and have some good eats while I’m here too! There truly is no place else like the Lone Star state.

-Why is giving back, like with the Blue Light Special tour, important to you?

I grew up in the small town of Azle, Texas and it instilled the sense of community that smaller towns provide. I love to support local and small businesses, and I’m honored to play a part in that for the city of Palestine, Texas. We can all do a lot of good for our community when we come together and support one another!

-What do you hope to accomplish this year?

This year I’m excited to get new music out and to continue touring. This next body of work is deep in my country roots and feels so true to who I am as an artist. I can’t wait to share everything my producer, Bill Warner and I have been working so hard on. We have a lot of exciting things planned for 2023 kicking off the “Blue Light Special” in Palestine!
